Something happened with my truck today...

... it started right up, ran great, shifted firm, and had no problems!

All we ever post about is when we are having a problem. Its easy to think that we are all terrible owners because our trucks are always breaking because that is all we talk about.

So how about we recognize all the trucks that are running great!

Who else started their truck today and had ZERO problems?

Flawless performance, including rescuing a disabled suburban and bringing it back to my shop.

Nice idea for a thread! Day in the life....

Promptly fired up at 0700 and did everything I asked of it all day long.

Bury me in this one, 'cause it's the very last one I'll ever own. I'll drive it to my final day.

No issues since my trans rebuild. Just some "goodies" starting to pile up and needing to find a home under the hood someday soon.

I drove my baby girl over 300 miles today. Guess what she's doing right now? Sleeping, but she's ready for more tomorrow.

I'll give his a twist: On Stinky's worst day, after I neglected to do a proper injector install just before my vacation, Stinky started right up each time and got us home from our 700-mile trip... while getting 18.5 MPG. Stinky is the 8000-pounds safety net under my high-wire mod-juggling act.

Running great, though at 268,000 miles the injectors are a little tired, usually on cold mornings.

Mine started getting tired not long after I hit the 300K mark. Despite being tired, it still fired up strong and got me where I needed to go without any hesitation.

The stockers have since been retired and replaced with Casserly Stage I's. Now she fires with a more serious vengeance and pulls harder and faster than she did before!

Nice to see a thread like this. As a new-to-diesels guy that is having troubles with his new rig, all of the searching on this forum has led me to believe that these trucks aren't that great - there are an awful lot of horror stories to be found while searching for answers to problems.

show'n the ol' girl some love today, with an oil and trans fluid change. Need her to perform like she should friday ,for our trip to Taft, Ca towing the toyhauler 500 miles....(motorcycle race). But, even with a "suspected" whiny trans, she wakes up and does what she's told, eachday
