Ford's new big rig keeps it in the family | Fox News

Is this a rebadged euro truck or is ford actually getting back in big trucks?

"Transformers, more than meets the eye".

I have no info, just the stupid comment above. Sorry.

It would be great if Ford did make a major presence in the big truck market.

Not for the US:

"Part of Ford's globalization strategy, the truck is aimed at the Eastern European and South American markets and is being introduced in Brazil this week, with a Turkey debut to follow.
There’s something very Transformer-y about how it looks, and how about all those round head and fog lights? But don’t hold out hope for parking one of these next to your Fiesta, at least not in the United States.
According to Autoblog, Ford has no plans to offer the Cargo in the U.S., where it currently doesn’t sell semis. So if you want to go big you’ll have to settle for an F-750."

Article says it's new, but it's not going to get Ford into the heavy market in US.

From what I have heard, to be built in Brazil and Turkey. So for now, it will be sold in Brazil and eastern Europe, later extending to most of South America, Europe, and middle east.

We will not get it here. When is tha last time you saw a cabover rolling down the interstate? Not popular here.

It is starting to look like we might see a new F650/750 aroung '16 or later.
