So I think these are the specs I want to run on my 390
270S Cam
Edelbrock Performer Intake
Current Headers
9.0:1 Compression
Polished and Port Matched Heads
600 CFM Holley
HEI or Pertronix equipped distributor

I will be running my exhaust about 2 foot long and exiting behind the rear tire (my dad's ole 68 had this kind of set up) so restriction on this side isn't a problem. I've thought about doing some sort of ram set up on induction. I haven't thought about it too much. The C6 is getting a torque converter and a shift kit. Any recommendations or comments on my plans, because I'd love to hear them. Hopefully I can get this done before Aug. 14th...We will just see how the money comes in.

It's everyone's favorite time again. PICTURE TIME! I've got 6 of them today. Today I pulled the dash, door panels and decided the ultimate colour the interior is going to be. Lets go!

The 2 1/2 hour fight resulted in this:

Cool matchbox I found in the dash:

What happened to my poor floor

Intimidating

So no pictures today But I did get the behind dash cleaned, dash disassembled, the ashtrash tray and holder ready for paint, the steering column cover painted, and the dash speaker grille painted. I started getting the cab scuffed (ran out of the light) and the dash started to get scuffed (also ran out of light). Hopefully tomorrow I can get the cab ready for paint (have 8 hours set aside for it tomorrow) and get some little pieces finished up. THERE WILL BE PICTURES TOMORROW!

Update for mid-afternoon brake
I got the majority of the cab sanded down and prepped for paint. I have some smaller pieces drying from paint and the dash is ready to go (on a less windy day). I feel productive and I'm going to have to sit on the stuff (after I finish scuffing the cab) until there is a good paint day.

Well its going to be until thursday before I get to put somemore work into the truck. It hailed last night. And it dented my hood more. And I got upset. And threw some of the piled up hail. But I shall fix it later. Interior taping starts thursday. Wish me luck!
