460 valve springs

After a few adult beverages i finally talked my dad into passing down his 78 f250 since project 3/4 ton shorty came to a hault. Several years ago he started tearing it down to shim the starter and port the heads, and after a couple of location moves it got set aside. So now im bringing it back. I had the exhaust ports opened up just a hair and now its time to reasemble. When my dad had it he had the 460 bored .60 over as well as balanced and blue printed. He had the heads machined to run 2.19/1.88 valves but left the springs stock. You all know as well as me that big valves and stock springs dont like each other. What springs do you guys recommend with that valve setup and a 250/256 cam? And help is aprreciated!

Where did you get the cam from? Most cam manufacturers list the needed spring for their cam and you can just buy the spring from them or find something similar, elsewhere, cheaper.
Also, is it 250/256 advertised or at 0.050"? That will make a difference...

Agree.
Just get a package (cam, lifters, springs)
The cam manufacturer knows a lot more about their products than you do, or ANY of us could take a guess on.
