p0174....GONE

i had been having a problem with my 06 cc f250 5.4 running lean for a while now. yesterday i had new intake gaskets and plugs put in, and its running like a raped ape now. better throttle response and power. the dealership charged 460.00 for doing it. all four plugs on the drivers side broke, and the ones on the passengers side came out no problem. glad everything is back to normal with my truck now

Glad to hear that you got it running well! While the broken spark plugs are fairly typical it does surprise me that you had to replace your intake gaskets on a 6-year-old truck. Of course any gasket can fail, but those aren't common on trucks twice that age.

i just had the gaskets changed for a little peace of mind. i kinda thought it might have been sucking air somewhere downstream the maf sensor. so i figured since it was in the shop i would have them do the gaskets as well.
