So last week I bought a 2006 F-250 6.0L CCSB Lariat Fx4, and it is loaded with Banks stuff. The PDA wasn't working (kept turning on and off), tried a new battery, same thing. Decided I'd probably get an IQ that would be plug and play. Well, the LED's on the tuner won't light at all, fuses are good. I'm told this probably means its bad. I think I'd just like to rip it all out and get an SCT Livewire. I'm getting exceptional mileage and it feels like it has power, but I don't want to drop $500 on an IQ to find out the six-gun isn't working.

So, how do I begin to rip it all out?

 

I am not familiar with the banks setup but I think it may be wise to contact an authorized banks dealer that installs them and see if they can point you in the right direction.

One other place to look is the Banks site. They may also have a support
link or Email page where you can ask the question. The only thing I have
seen is the Banks gets plugged into the PCM. You may look and see if it's
still plugged in. If not that COULD be the problem.

I actually got it working while installing my new stereo last night, the power supply for the tuner to the fuse box was unplugged! Haven't driven it much, we'll see if I like it. I've ordered a Banks IQ so I can monitor and change the tunes, its a plug and play replacement for the PDA. If I don't like it I'll put it back to stock.
