Front passenger brake line

So I installed my f250 coils tonight but forgot on the passenger side to watch the brake line and it separated at the rubber and metal. What's the easiest way to replace this? Is this a normal breakage point? It's an 88 f150 4x4.

You mean where the line connects to the caliper?

It's closer to that side but is still in between the frame and caliper. Basically what I have now is a metal line coming a few inches off the caliper and a rubber line off the frame. It separated where those two meet.

Like Rocky said, it sounds like you broke the brake hose. I would also recommend you upgrade your hoses. LMC has a stainless set, bit pricey, but suspension upgrades never come without a cost. Truck Parts and Truck Accessories

I guess I'm confused as to how the flex part is typically held together to the steel line off the caliper? What holds them together? Where it seperated it looks like the steel line is barbed or something to hold the flex line on. When you buy this line new, does it come as one piece or is it flex line plus steel line?
