Needing some critical advice about strange whine

Hey guys, new to this section of the forum, usually spend my time in the 73-79 truck area, but I recently bought a 2005 F350 HD edition. Drove it for about 500 miles and she plumbed white smoke, so I installed head gaskets, studs, egr delete, HPOP upgrade, coolant filter, Silverline duals, and a FICM upgrade. Installed all these goodies and took it on a long haul with about 10k on my gooseneck right after installing exhaust. Got to my desination and started hearing a wicked whine coming from the passenger side of the truck. At first it was dependent on boost levels and its has progressively gotten worse. It whines all the time now. On my way back going up hills I saw the boost gauge almost touching the red, lacking power the whole way and my truck went into a limp mode. That happened another 3 times on the way back. Checked codes and it came up with hight boost codes, low boost codes and a couple others. Dealer tells me my turbo is shot and the bottom bearings/ bushings are going out and thats what is squealing/ whining. Any thoughts?

Can you pin the noise as coming from the turbo? If so it's probably time for a new turbo or at least the center rotating section

No I cant pin point the squeal, to f-ing loud to stick my head in the engine compartment while running. The more I read it sounds like a y pipe is cracked, but the more I read from others is that when it happens you see soot and such on the the fire wall. I never hear of peoples turbo's wearing out at 110,000 miles.

It can happen with poor maintenance or not driving it often enough or perhaps a flaw in the bearing its hard to say, but it does happen

I'm hoping you also replaced the oil cooler. The usual cause of a blown egr cooler.
