What you see here is someone's clever thinking of using a diesel truck on a trailer as a counterweight, so that the Chevy didn't nose into the earth when its IFS went to ****.

Yeah, that trailer carrying that truck is a little ridiculous.

Anything bigger and we would not have made it back on the trail to pick him up. He was about a mile back and almost in the lake. And I am not going to lie the hole operation was sketchy at best. The owner of the truck was one of my former soldiers and wrecked it showing off for a girl. He had broken the power steering gear box shaft so the truck had no steering. The lake is well off the beaten path and lots of people go out there to drink and get wild. If the truck had sat out over night I can guaranty the tires, programmer, and gauges would have been gone.

The chevy pulled the heavy load pretty good. My truck is not exactly stock (just under 400 whp thanks to a eaton M112) but traction was my main concern. Even in 4 hi on sandy and ruff ground the truck did pretty well. Of course my truck is only a 5.3 gas motor with a 4L65 so I was very aware that I had 8000 pounds behind me.

For all you safety guys out there this is not how I like to tow vehicles. But this was a last minute and last resort kind of deal. We stayed on back roads and kept speeds below 50 mph for the most part.

Lol, I didn't mean it like that. Hell, I've pulled my truck into the garage using a lawnmower before, lol.

I should have. I was in the truck and my dad was pulling with the lawnmower, because he's got about sixty pounds on me. I was laughing nearly too hard to steer. Video would have been really shakey, lol.
