Hello all,

I just bought a used Ford DVD player from a 2003 Expedition and want to wire it into my 2002 XLT. Does anyone know where I can get the wiring schematic for the DVD player? Also, does anyone know if there might be an existing harness in my 2002 for it?

I contacted Ford about a wiring schematic, and they said they don't have them(strange). Here is what they sent:

I have a Haynes manual but there is little useful wiring information.

I was going to buy a new dvd player from ebay two weeks ago but I decided to ask a few questions before getting into it. I ran down to the stealer and they sent me to the installer they use. I told him my situation and he advised me against it. He said that Ford doesnt sell the harness apart from the dvd player they sell. Meaning I'd never find one from Ford. He told me that he had run into the same problem in the past few days with other customers getting their hands on just the dvd player. Oh well.
