It's probably in the same section of diagrams that I got. I got them from Autozone's site. Go to their site, register yourself, and then plug in your vehicle. Click on "repair guides" and then click on "wiring diagrams" Then click on "entertainment systems".

Rear subwoofer wires.

There are 4 wires going to the subwoofer trying to run a line out converter. Not sure what wires are what. 2 wires are solid and 2 are striped. Can some one give me a diagram or at least tell me what each wire is for.

What are you working on? Year, model, and what system?

Hooking up an amp.

It is a 2006 Lincoln Navigator with the THX audio system. Under the rear cup holder in back is the wires for the stock subwoofer there is a clip with four wires a black wire with a white stripe, a black wire with a green stripe, a solid green wire, and a purple wire. I want to run the LOC here but am not sure if the amp is before this point or not.And not sure of what wire is what. I have searched and searched for a diagram or codes for the wires and there is nothing. Nothing useful at least.

The diagram shows the subwoofer has two speakers in it. It also shows these wires have a shield of some sort around them. It does not designate the two subwoofers as left and right, it numbers them #1 and #2.

#1 subwoofer + is the solid green wire, #1 subwoofer - is the solid purple wire.

#2 subwoofer + is the black/lightgreen stripe wire, #2 subwoofer - is the black/white stripe wire.

Thank you. I hooked up the LOC to the striped wires and got nothing. But when I tried the green and our purple my amp and subs came to life. Thanks again.
