just curious..at what speeds can u engage/disengage the 4wd feature on the fly on the new explorers?

 

Sorry cant help with this one mine is FWD,the owners manual should tell you everything you need to know.

 

The 4wd system on the Explorers is completely automatic - it is always engaged more like AWD vs. true 4wd. You can make changes to the Terrain Control **** at any time and any speed. In the dash screen setup you can set it up to see the power split between front and rear.
