I have a 1996 4.9(300i6), manual trans, EEC-V (that's MAF). The 302 of the same vintage was MAF as well and could be had with the manual transmisison..
That's obd2 however and we're talking obd1 systems.

He's not converting back to SD, he's not converting anything really just using a motor that came from an obd2 truck with an obd1 efi system in an older non efi vehicle. There's nothing about these motors that make them obd specific either except a few sensors that are easily changed or deleted.
