A guy over on the Barn mentioned the importance of today's date, and I thought I'd pass it along. Ford introduced the F-1 to the public on this day 65 years ago. Thus began the greatest line of trucks of all time.

BTW, I wonder if Ford will have a window sticker to commerate this mile stone. I got one for the 50th.



I have it in corner of my F-2's window. It was kind of neat. I drove the F-2 to the local Ford dealer to buy it and while standing at the parts counter a salesman walked up to me and asked if I owned the F-2 and handed me a reflective poster like this one.
