I'm rebuilding my front end. Needed brakes, rotors, ball joints, a few other seals and bearings while I have it apart. Thanks to this forum I have everything off the truck. But I want to dismantle the Hub Body Assembly.


Here are two pictures. First time I've tried to post pictures. So if they are not there I'll re-post. Or try the links below.

I want to dismantle this so I can clean/lube it. I've popped out the plastic tabs and it moved a bit, but now it's not coming apart. I don't want to force it, unless that's what I'm suppose to do. Can't find anything online. Maybe I need to press it out? Thanks ahead for any help. SWC

They're not servicable (come apart). If you are having problems just replace the locking hub assembly.

 

Thanks for the help! Think the part is fine, so I'll just lube it and move on to the ball joints. Scott
