FE starters

hey guys i think ive ground all the teeth out of my starter, i would like to get a higher torque starter from summit but boy do they cost a lot. theres some big names like powermaster and tuffstuff and im wondering if anyone has tried one before i shell out twice as much as i need to. i really just want to avoid reman autoparts store junk

So you've taken the Starter out and physically verified this as well as the teeth on the flywheel or flexplate by rotating motor .. If it is your starter taking it to a local rebuild shop and discussing what parts would help it last longer is a good alternative ..
