Hello My Heater Hose Keep's On Coming Off. How Do You Snap It In Place With The Connector? I Tried Buying A New Hose And Still Not Staying In Place. It Always Remove While Driving And Cause All Water To Escape.

1. Which hose is the one you're referring to?

2. Is it one of the ones going to the heater core or the radiator?

3. Does it have the quick-connect fitting on it or is it just a cut piece of hose?

4. Can you provide the part number for the hose so we can look up which one you have?

I'm referring to the one that goes to your engine to the firewall. It goes to the heater core. Also it has a quick connect fitting. I just can't get it to snap in place when putting it in.

Did you reuse the old connector after unplugging it for service or did it fail on its own? If it came off by itself, the plastic sleeve is probably busted.

The '"click" is faintly audible when you push the connector onto a heater core barbed male end. If you are sure you are pushing hard enough to make the connection and it ain't happening, you need to rebuild the connectors. I got a rebuild kit from NAPA that included the "o" rings. A straightforward job.

Some guys do away with the quick connector and use regular hose clamps over existing or extension heater hose. Your choice.
