I dont mind at all!! I love how this truck looks in the sun, the metallic just pops!! Now to slowly trick it out, looking into a dualliner for the bed, weather tech no drill mudflaps, then a tonneau if I can make up my mind on which one...lol

The 6.7 forum is littered with so much aftermarket reading it'll make your head spin. Spend your time searching in there, to me, that's the "SuperDuty" forum for the '11+ trucks.

I went with the Husky mudflaps on my truck, got for $80 total from autoanything. I have a general dissatisfaction with mud flaps anyways, but these seem to keep the rocks off the panels immediately behind the tires (they still chuck stuff a couple feet back but at least the worst hit area is protected).

Just a FYI, the Weather Tech mudflaps are NOT no drill. I bought and sent them back because of that and got the Huskys. Same installation and half the price.

Is that a vinyl ovelay in your grill? I was thinking black in my grill and chrome in the tailgate?? Also can you post a pic of your bed cover?? Do you like the fit and quality?? I had an Advantage trifold on my F150 and it leaked...so in winter it would freeze the tailgate shut..pain in the azz.!!

2000 Silverbullit I had husky mudflaps on my 04 F250 and they were nice, just didnt want to drill into the new paint. I watched the video on weathertech website and they didnt drill any holes to mount them on a 2011?? Maybe I will just get the husky ones again..not sure. I promised the wife I would keep this truck for a long time, so I want to make the best choice and only do this stuff once.

Welcome to FTE!

I see a SD in your avatar, what's the details of it? You seem to have the same land yacht configuration I have (CC/LB).

Congrats on the truck that Black sure is sweet!

I can remeber sitting in the finance office and they told me the monthly nut on the truck I was like well thats a lil more than I want to spend especially since I did not need it I SD Denali was just fine I just wanted this thing.....I looked to the wife and said waht do you want to do.....She said lets get it....I signed on the dotted line

I researched the 6.2 and could not find any negative on this engine....I am very happy with the truck performance is great. I just put on a Tonno Pro trifold cover and picked up .5mpg I also have the weather tech floor mats which are great! Next mod is a 3.5" ready lift kit

Every time I get in the truck my wife laughs cause the same words always come out.....damn this is a nice truck!

Congrats again!

Matt,

2011 F-250 Lariat, 6.2.

Bought it to replace a 2007 F-150, bought a larger TT last year and it was to much like the tail wagging the dog for me. Can't wait to tow with this beast!

Let me rephrase that, they do not use their patent mounting system on the SD mudflaps, Weather Tech that is. You still have to use screws and nuts but you do use the holes already in the wheel wells. So the Huskeys go on the same way. I was thinking the more money was for the easy installation but they are both the same, with the same amount of screws.

Yes they are the vinyl ones, got them on eBay. I also have the silver on the tailgate, here is a picture.

Here is a picture of the cover, it's a Trifecta:
