leveling kit questions and advice
Ive got a 2002 f250 4x4 and its time for new tires so its getting leveled with new wheels and tires.
I was looking at this mini spring pack... F250 Leveling Kit | F350 Leveling Kit | Ford Leveling Kits | Custom Diesel ... would I need a new adjustable track bar with it, or would a track bar bracket work just as good? Or should I just go with this kit? ... 1999-2004 Ford F250 2.5 Lift Kit - Zone Offroad [F4-JLK] - $295.95 : Leveling Kits - Lift Kits - Wheels & Tires - Just Leveling Kits ...
And I was wanting 18's and 35's but on Rimzone the packages are all with 33" tall tires. I can fit 35's with a leveling kit cant I?

I have a 2.7" mini pack, and run 315/75/16's(measure 34.8" tall) I did have to space the bumper and pull back the inner fenders though with my 10" wide wheels, but they don't rub on the leaf springs at full lock either, serious "wheeling" I have touched the fender though on a off camber twist over some rocks. But on stock SD wheels, with 285/75's(measure just over 33") even before the levelling kit there was no rubbing on mine and plenty of "wheeling" room with the front up.

It sucks that it has to.be done but the rear blocks are very easy. Mine was def higher when not towing but exagerated when towing, which I used to do every day.

Ford Super Duty 2" Front Lift Shackle Leveling Kit | eBay
I used a simple kit like this and got a set of F350 rear blocks and I fit 315's without much difficulty. The rear block swap isn't tough. I too tow a decent bit, horses and a 9K lb travel trailer so I wanted a bit of a rake when not loaded so my headlights weren't too high. It works well.

Im not worried about the install, I can install pretty much anything. But were already having to make the garage door taller just so it fits with a level. Where would I get the 350 blocks though?
Would the Zone kit kind of settle some after a while if it does lift the front too much? I havent taken any measurements but its pretty low in the front, Ive had people ask me if its 2wd because of it.
This is what it looks like now, Saturday were going to look at wheels and tires

The zone kit, along with many of the others I have read about usually give more than what they claim. The reason for this is that most of the front leafs are worn out, and at least the zone put some of the arch back in them. Now if you dont have many miles on your truck, then the difference may not be much, if any.
An example, when I bought mine, the previous owner for some reason used auto zone 2 inch blocks in the front. The truck had 220k when I got rid of them, so there was a lot of use on the leafs. Bought the zone kit, and expected to do it right I would only gain about .5 inches from how it was setting with the blocks. After the install, cant remember exact numbers, but I gained about 2 inches over what the blocks were already producing due to the packs putting arch back in there.
If your leafs are not high mileage or rode hard, you may not notice my kind of numbers.
Also somewhere on this site (im on a tablet, so hard to search) people talk about different code leafs for the front that add about 2 inches. That may be a good option for the OP.
