Need Help ASAP! Titan Tank install gone Wrong

Hey Guys.

Installed a 65 Gal Titan Tank the other day. I Finally got a chance to fill her up all the way.. well as much as i could.

My Level sensor is not functioning and I was only able to put in a total of 160 Liters when it should have been right around 246L.

My question is this.

I need to syphon my tank now. Is there anything preventing me from doing that or will a 1/2 hose work??

Thanx. Please just answer the question as im out in the city and need to purchase the hose and a 55gal drum.

is it reading at all? and what is that reading?

you can check to see if the sending unit is plug in. you can see it between the truck bed and the frame rail.

Also i had transfer flow tank that the sending unit float got hung up on the bottom of tank. took it for a drive fix that.

Yeah, i double checked the electrical connection. It still wont read anything. Even tho i did put 160L in the tank. I couldnt put more in. So now im driving around trying to find a cheap transfer pump and a 205l drum with no succeas. Pisses right off. I mean its 4 hoses one electrical plug and 8bolts. Not sure how it so buggered up

Hey Guys,

THanx for the replies.

Siphoning is pretty much impossible . Has to do with the turn into the tank on the filler hose. Anyhow the problem was the float was touching the side of the tank.

The instructions were very misleading. instead of keying it the way the oem tank was just follow the picture for the fuel sender unit and you will be good.

As for only 160L going into the tank. LMFAO apparently the gas station's machine needs a recal. We pulled 230 some liters out of the tank with 28L being used on the trip computer.

All is good now

I ordered it through a truck part shop in edmonton. Talked with the guys from Titan Tank and they said to do it that way versus getting them to ship it to me

Call NADP for a price. Their prices on the titan tanks are pretty good

Picked up at plant

I picked up mine at their site, and they had it installed next door at the Chebby dealer.

Very fast and professional. Installer didn't like some of the looks of the bolts. Factory guy brought more over in 3 minutes. Installer said he's done over seveal 1000's units.

Good job

-- Yeah, now just don't tell the station owner, and keep going to that pump.
