3 point seat belts

Anybody have any tips for installing the shoulder mounting point?
I'm thinking about fabricating some kind of bracket and was wondering if anyone else has done this or has any ideas.
There doesn't appear to be any structural reinforcing in the cab
corner. Maybe I could build some type of bridge between the
side door frame and rear window frame.

What year/model truck are you working on? For my 50 F1 the back cab corners had perfectly placed braces. I was able to use the upper and lower brace to hold some 1/4" x 2"x 10" steel plates. I then was able to use the three point belts out of an early 90's mustang. Worked great! The first time I tested them by hitting the brakes hard, the internal locking mechanism kicked in and held my butt to the seat! Not bad for a first attempt 3pt seat belt install.

Sorry, it's a 55 F100. I'll have another look tonight to see if there
are brackets similar to yours. I don't remember seeing a lower one and will feel up under the headliner for something up higher.
If they are there your solution will work perfectly.
How did you mount the retractor mechanism? How much room is required? It looks kind of tight in this area.

several people make a plate one that i know of off hand is mid fifty i believe it comes with a threaded nut already welded in the only downside to this is you are gonna have to take your headliner out and weld the plate in to the back window edge and the rear of the door opening lip inside the cab check around to all the people that sell parts like i said ive seen several companys offering them

just my opinion oh and by the way your headliner should work with the plate installed
