1983 F-250 Question

We have a 1983 F-250 XL, 351 Windsor 2 barrel, 4X4, 4 speed manual, regular cab, long box, factory air conditioning. We bought it from the owner that purchased it new back in December of 1999 with 31,000 actual miles on the clock. I have put just over 1000 miles a year on average since we bought it so it has just over 44,000 actual miles on it now.

The elderly gentleman that bought it new and sold it to me was a farmer. He was in and out of this truck an inordinate number of times in relation to it's mileage. As a result, the seat on the drivers side is worn out and needs to be redone.

It is the basic, bare bones interior with rubber floor mats and the bare bones vinyl seat, which I love.

It was a working truck up until April when we bought an '09 F-250 SD. I want to spiff it up a bit. Not to show quality but nice enough to do some cruise nights and small town car shows.

My question, where would I go about finding the original vinyl seat material? It is the tan color that was available in 1983 and has smooth panels on the edges of the seat closest to the doors and the same smooth panel in the middle. This material isn't hard to find at all but the panels of the drivers and passenger sides have a funky pattern and texture integrated into them with small designs of black being part of that pattern.

I've gone to the local upholstery shop and the guy there claims this material is no longer available. He has the matching stuff in a sample book and checked it's availability and he says no one has it.

Would any of you guys have any idea who I might contact that might have a supply of this stuff. I really want to keep it bone stock and factory correct, if possible.

Thanks in advance.

To make you more confident, I have purchased from them two times and am very pleased with the outcome. [1984 and 1986 F150 with original interiors]

They will send you a sample.
