Hey i was farting around on youtube and found idi weekend videos, anybody ever heard of this? looks like a big gathering of the old ford diesels

Yep Oilburners put it together. I've attended 2 so far. Very fun gatherings!

We were 26 trucks at that one. And a few more showed up just for 1 day for that event.

it changes every year. the link i post tells about the IDI weekend for this year. it is gonna be somewhere in Indiana this year.

At least it's not to far from ya it's a 13 hour trip each way for me.

 

Darrin's weekend rally is in MI...

I'm really hoping to make it to this years rally since it's so close. All depends on work...

 

34hours for me, not gonna happen. Let me know when one is in the western US.

 

They have planned quite a few out west, but it never happens. The guys aren't serious enough about it.

I think they've had a few little get togethers, but nothing that lasts a week long, with good activities everyday.


Last summer we had a guy come to MI from California, with his CC full of parts for us. He also won a complete Hypermax exhaust system at the raffle draw to.

 

im really hopeing i can make it this year.

 

Hmmm.... 6-ish hour drive if we stay away from Chicago... hmmm... could camp down in Brown County (think: Smoky Mountains in IN).... hmmm.... They wouldn't just laugh at you if you showed up in a mostly-stock rattle-canned slightly dented former farm truck, would they?
