classic symptoms are shutting off when letting of the go pedal (like in a turn) and starts right back up....eventually it won't start right back up. When this happens watch the RPM gage while cranking (with good batteries), if it doesn't bounce...chances are it is a CPS. many more symptoms as well...people will add to the list.

Alright, ill try pulling it and swapping with one from another one of our trucks. It stalled on my the other day when i was going through a 10 mph curve with my 28ft camper, it was a hell of a ride but i made it around. It normally does it when i am coasting to a stop after letting off the throttle or it will idle and eventually stall, occasionally after driving but it usually idles just fine after a cold start. When it stalls while coasting i can shift into neutral and it starts back up like nothin even happened.

Mine would shut off like you turned the key off. I would leave it idle somewhere and walk away and I'd come back and the engine would be off. Also, would stall when it was driving sometimes, like you turned the key off. Had a couple of dicey moments in traffic. Sometimes when it would stall while driving, I could pop it into neutral (the truck had an E4OD back then), restart it immediately, and go right back to driving. Then, it started doing it where it wouldn't restart, and I stopped up a busy intersection in downtown Evansville for about five minutes one day, and then got serious about fixing it.
Piece of cake to replace and pretty affordable. You might as well replace it if you suspect that it's giving you problems.
