Ed Gein The Butcher of Plainsfield.
Different ones shown in movie. A sheriff deputy was tooling around in a 51 or 52 model.

There is a mid fifty ford flatbed style during one of the shootouts in the new movie Machine Gun Preacher. I had trouble figuring it out at the time and still don't understand. Were any of the big back windows ever made with the slant cabs? This one was done this way.

The Movie "Expendables"

'53 truck, they dubbed the flathead sound. Then they followed it up with the truck pushing another a blacked out suv. The suv lost with its tires spinning. Movies are not realistic.

The Expendables truck was a '55 I remember watching the episode of West Coast Customs built it with lots of parts from LMC. I could be wrong though they built two of them. One was used in the movie and one was given to Stallon which he sold back last January.

Sold for $132,000. Sylvester Stallone's custom built 'Expendables' F-100 sold. - The World Famous West Coast Customs®

Interesting it isn't a '55, rather it's a '56 that has been converted to a '55. And there were three of them made! http://www.lowonfuel.com/auto-news/w...e-expendables/

Not a movie, but there was a '53 in NCIS. There was a recent thread about it.

Thanks for posting the links James. That is one fine '55/'56. I like the simple interior.

I'm pretty sure it was "Porky's" (or a very similar movie) that the kids drove around in a Bonus Built. Must have been modified underneath because it shifted like lightning and was "patching out" all the time. But externally totally stock.

You can search for Fords used in movies on the Internet Archives using Advanced Search. Here's some results: Internet Archive Search: Ford

That's my favorite too.

Barry Pepper drives a Bonus Built in the ESPN movie about Earnhardt. Actually drives it really hard.
