"Looking to buy this.

Dana 60 high pinio front axle and matching rear axle. 4.11 ratio. Out of a 94 f350. You can have axles, springs, and drivelines. Front has steering and tie rod attatched. All brake lines are still on both. If you text me
with your number I can send pics. All for $1300.

Also have a zf 5 speed tranny with transfer case($250). 16" Aluminum wheels($125). Rack it lumber rack($150). Warn winch bumper($200)

Since sellers says its high pinion should it have a better turning radius?

Do I confirm it has

1 Track bar mount and a track bar

2 F350 Springs

3 Driver side U-bolt plate.

4 Steering linkage .

5 Pitman arm

6 Front driveshaft

7 Front brake hoses

8 F350(4") rear block

looks about rite.... A bit pricy. High pinion just means that the pinion is above the center line of the ring gear (good for a front axle). Your turning radius will not be better due to the limitation of the leaf springs.

Thank you for your input.

This axle is 8 hour drive each way.

Including all the "extra" items what is a fair price?

Would be will to buy any other items listed to sweeten the deal. Probably get the wheels.

Funny I am looking at buying a Jeep in Pheonix.

You cant go to a pick and pull junkyard? I bought my first d60 for 800 then couple months later got another from the u-pull yard for 145 complete. And remember, putting one in is never as cheap as they say!

That's a little high, but not bad for both axles. He might take $1100 or $1200, or if he'll sell just the front, offer maybe $800.

If you have a place to stash 'em, $250 for a ZF5 + Borg is a steal. So is $125 for a clean set of Alcoas.

I have found axles on craigslist for $100-$150 so it all depends on opportunity. Where are you that it is an 8h drive to PHX? I am in Tucson right now.

Yards here in Los Angeles want $400 PER AXLE BARE.

The issue here is a core charge is $100 for scrap and want they don't sell here can easily fill a 40 foot container and ship overseas for much more money.

Thats is how lots of the construction equipment left California.

Does this look like the correct axle?

Told the transfer case had the following tag on it

A184 3 1356-64 155491 F2TABD with sticker BDD

Is this an appropriate transfer case?

Just make sure you get the bracket that was bolted to the frame for track bar to hook to.It looks like in the pic it is not on it.Hopefully he has a box of all the stuff like that even if you replace hardware .

If the axles have their tags have him send close ups and you be able to verify ratio also.thats a long drive.but worth it!

The seller is providing

All parts on the axles as pictured.

4 Original wheels

Tranny and xfer case

Track bar mount and a track bar

F350 Springs front and rear

Driver side U-bolt plate.

Steering linkage .

Pitman arm

Front driveshaft

F350(4") rear block riser

But not the brake hoses since they were cut to remove axles.

All for $1800 ... what do you think?

Does the steering linkage appear bent or is it "factory" bent?

I thinks it atleast $600 to high....The axles are the right ones, I can't say for sure if the steering linkage is bent or not, but its cheap to get a new one.

unless he Guarantees the trans is good, which is almost impossible, it's worth $100. Same with the t-case so really the only thing of value to you is the front axle and suspention parts.

Offer him $1200 cash.
