tow and plow prep packages
Can anyone tell me specifically what was included with the tow package and snow plow prep package on a 2003 F250 supercab XLT? What wiring, upgrades etc.?

Usually includes the hitch and trailer wiring, as well as a larger capacity trans cooler. Snow plow prep adds heavier front springs, and a heavier output alternator.

Nope, wiring should come with the plow.

(in-cab, no controller

this is standard on the XLT

Y'all rock. Just bought my first f250. (Several prev f150s). It's a 2003 XLT with 62k and never had a hitch or plow installed. Who buys a 3/4 ton and never "uses" it? Almost no rust too. I have a class IV hitch and break controller on order.

it didn't have a factory hitch? Ive never seen a F250 or F350 whether its a Xl or lariat without a hitch, never.....

Don't know? Bought from a dealer but one owner carfax. I can find no signs that a hitch was ever installed.

So the hitch should've come on the truck?
