I think the ICP change will probably clear up your issue. I found mine by washing the engine bay with simple green and rinsing with water. The ICP when wetted actually killed my motor on the highway after taking it for a drive to steam off the water off the motor. That is my opinion and my past problem.

I think you also need to have the codes cleared. Is anyone with an AE near you?

 

Doesn't appear as though there's an AE in SW Fl Ive asked multiple times. I'll just unplug the batts n hope the SES stays off after the ICP swap

 

Does anyone near you have a 7.3 that is using a diablo predator? If so, that can clear and read codes.

 

I am not certain of it, but maybe the scan gauge ii can read and clear the codes. I will have to try that the next time I get an SES.
