In my 2007 F250 V-10, I'm running Mobil 1 extended performance. I have between 7500-8000 miles on the oil currently and it still has a great color and feel to the oil. It will be getting anaylized in the next week or two to see where things stand with it.
I do agree with what others are saying about the MC synthetic blend oil. With the price being just a tad higher the conventional, I would gladly pay the extra few cents for it. Its cheap piece of mind especially if the truck is still under warranty!

Funny how things happen. I was talking to a fella on my route today who turns out to be an engine builder. Well, mainly he rebuilds engines and does some racing engines too.
He commented on how well the newer engines are holding up compared to anything built in the 70's and 80's. He mentioned that newer with 150K on them have very little noticeable internal wear and he attributes that to modern oils.
