Got the 78 stuck plowing yesterday

Yep, got sucked out over the burm when plowing yesterday and slid right down the hill. The pic doesn't show how steep the hill is, but there was no getting out (without some help from my nieghbor lol). Winter is so much fun

part of knowing how to drive is knowing what the gear your truck up with, and that would be chains. cheap leason learned for you this time anyhow.

Yeh never made it to the tree line lol.

And I know how to drive just fine thanks. The truck is driven daily so chains are not an option. I have an International Harverster 4x4 dump truck with chains & a 9' plow for when the snow gets really deep.

Is that a stream or creek on the other side of the trees? A few feet forward and a bit more speed could have earned you an undercarriage wash.

It's a highway..I'm standing in my driveway looking down the hill at it. There's about a 20'+ drop off on the other side of the trees where the road was cut thru the hill.

Yeah it's fun doing that stuff, I pulled a 2001 Crown Vic out of a ditch the day before and was plowing all day long. I work the truck pretty hard....I tow pretty heavy with it, plow 3 different good size driveways, drive it on a daily basis, and it never skips a beat. I had to help my buddy move some trailers, rough-cut lumber, and scrap steel out of a field last month because the 4wd wasn't working in his 2010 F150.
I posted the pic because I like to see/hear of these old trucks still being used and thought I'd share.
