6 inch lift for F150 on F250?
I just received my body lift (havent installed it yet) and am already thinking of more lift for my pickup. I was wondering if a lift from a 2wd F150 will fit on my 2wd F250? The only reason im doubting this is because the blocks from the F150 wouldnt support the extra weight of the F250. Heres the f150 lift Ford Suspension Lift Kits and heres the F250 lift Item #186F2K-H / Skyjacker Suspensions Nice difference in price. Help anyone? Like i said i dont think it work but ive been wrong before plenty

Umm
150 has coils in front
250 has leaf springs
Geometry is pretty much the same other then how it's suspended and trailing arms on 150.
Build a long arm setup for the 250 and put the coils in. Buckets will install just fine and just need to secure coils to axle somehow.

Crap. I overlooked the 2wd part.
And that you were keeping it 2wd.
The pitman arm is different between the two and the ubolts are bigger on the 250.
Coils are likely rated higher.
Frames are different from the 150 to the 250. So the drop brackets could have different bolt hole locations.
Are you considering making it 4wd. Cause coils and long arm suspension would be awesome. One thing I'd like to do to my 90.

I wanted to make it 4x4, but then i thought why spend all that money when im not gonna be taking it offroad that much. Its mainly gonna be for looks. So i decided to keep it 2wd and lift it. What do you mean by coils are rated higher?

I have been looking into lifting the front of my 91 F250 2wd for sometime now. It has a nasty 3.5" rake that bothers me to know end and I do not want to drop the rear. I have went as far as looking at the factory(LMC Truck) I beam brackets on an F150 and the F250 and the replacement part is the same part number. My belief is that the brackets are identical.
Superlift has a 3.5" lift for these 2wd F250's. The kit uses the same I Beam drop brackets and dropped pitment arm for both the F150 and F250. The difference is in the coil spring and shocks. My fear is alignment when I am done. TTB alignment can be a pain if messed with.
