I was getting ready to order some filters at dieselfiltersonline.com and noticed they have an aftermarket fuel filter kit by PrimeGuard for these trucks now for a bit less $. Anyone use it, have opinions on it, or know what if any differences it has compared to the Ford one other than being cheaper?

Same question on the oil filter Primeguard POF-6128 vs Motorcraft FL-2051.

 

Personally, I stick with the Motorcraft. When I had my 6.0L, There were a lot of guys with the 6.0L got burned by the WIX oil filters that were not *quite* exactly the same as the Motorcraft branded RACOR filters.

 

I wouldn't recommend an aftermarket filter and here's why!
