Hey guys I have a 1993 ford f150 and I was wondering if anyone has had the problem of "bumper sag" with the front bumper? Where the front bumper seems to hang down lower at the bottom

 

Well I'm glad to hear that your bumper hangs down lower at the bottom. If it hung down lower at the top, that would be cause for panic.
But in all seriousness, if you mean to say that it's lowered down some, just loosen the nuts where it's bolted to the frame and move it up some.

 

I think that the OP is referring to the bottom ends of the front bumper sides point to the ground and the bumper bottom sides aren't horizontal any more-in a front to rear plane. I have seen this in these trucks-usually occurs when there is a minor collision at the top half of the bumper at the center. And this is most noticeable when viewing the front bumper from the sides of the truck. The bumper itself isn't bent-but how it is mounted to the frame is bent.

I would place a jack at the ends of the bumper sides and jack up the bumper sides (directly in front of the front fender wheel opening) and it should straighten the bumper sides and make them horizontal again. I would suggest using two jacks-one on each bumper side and jacking both at the same time to minimize the stress on the front bumper.

I have done this with my factory rear bumper that was somewhat bent down and careful jacking made the bumper ends and bumper mounting horizontal again in a front to rear plane in relation to the bed.

 

I spent hours this past fall trying to get rid of that sag. I would snug it up, take a few steps back, adjust it, repeat over and over until I finally got it close. Not sure what caused it, but I can live with the results now.
