That looks like one nice truck. Certainly would be interesting to know the history of it, such low mileage. if that is correct. It is mind boggling to me that the low mileage originals are out there. I know of a one family owned 1950 Olds 88 coupe sittin' in a barn with less than 20 K actual mileage.

It's all original with the flathead v-8 and a 4 spd. As of right now my plan is to keep it the way it is and drive it. You just don't see too many of these trucks this clean with a nice patina look.

I like your plan to leave as is and drive it.You are right about not finding many in that condition.

Very good to hear your plan. Very few unmolested trucks still out there. Plenty of others are available for chops, drops, swaps, etc. Keep us updated and show us more pics when you can.

Congrats on the find. I'm with you - a very clean and unmolested truck deserves to be kept clean and unmolested. Certainly, there are reasons for modification - just not on those that have kept themselves together.

Be sure to not wipe the goofy smile from your face when you drive - it is the link that binds any of us keeping one of these beauties on the road.

Happy Motoring!

mike....

jealousy duzzent even cover it.!!! i'm from ny and those finds are NOT AVAILABLE! where did you find it? not that i'll come looking but i am curious. and i totally agree to not change a thing. ITS BETTER than a full frame off. eventially, down the road, literally, update the brakes and anything else that needs done but please don't change any of the "visual" stuff. i'll be the guy on the side of the road waving you to pull over so i can look closer. thank you for finding it and sharing.
