Not supposed to amount to much. I still haven't cleared the last one, as it was so soft underneath I didn't want to dig the mud... I think it got a bit more solid, at least for the first few inches. The snow keeps it from going too far.

You could go fishing for Iowa members.........maybe they don't know about the chapter

 

There are plenty that have joined, only to disappear almost immediately. We used to have at least a small core that have bailed as of late as well. We have had several GTG's before, but it was always the same core group that would show. There was complaints when it wasn't in certain areas, so we held them there, and the ones that complained didn't show... Some had issues with the prior admin before the IB buyout, and may well still not be able to/want to come back.

If I'm not busy out working on something, might watch...

 

For an example here, there are 3 that have signed up in the past few days. How many have actually posted? I used to do a welcome thread, but it had a very low response. Tended to be a glaring reminder that they didn't bother to actually come to the chapter and post, so not sure why they even take the time to sign up. I sent a welcome message too, but didn't seem to matter. I have run out of ideas on how to get participation.

 

Roger, I had the same problems. I made it a rule, that if you'd like to join, you have to post in the welcome thread created, or I will delete the membership after a few weeks. I got tired of the member list being clogged up with people that don't participate. I'm going to have a G2G, probably in March. I'm hoping for a good turnout, since we've had a bunch of new people join up, that are around the Omaha area.

 

Heck, I won't have hardly any members left...

Mabe I will have to go postal and threaten them all with eviction... yeah, doubt that will help.
