Can anyone refer a HONEST diesel mechanic or a diesel shop in Aurora CO or somewhere nearby (80016).

 

I have used Branch Automotive on County Line and Holly in Littleton for the past several years. Parker is the owner and he has been great to work with. He does all maintenance on my truck, has replaced both the oil cooler and EGR, installed a coolant filter, etc, etc. I recomment him. While not in Aurora, he is worth the drive. I do hear he is looking to move his shop to a larger location so that he can accomodate all the work he is doing. Give him a call.

 

Check out some of the regional forums on powerstroke.org I was looking for a mechanic near me and was amazed with all the responses I got from the guys over there. Plus, my guy has had 3 Excursions and knows a lot of the quirks quite well.

 

I've seen Colorado diesel shops recommended in the 7.3L forum before. There are a few members living in Colorado.

Elite Diesel in Arvada helped me out when I was stranded!! I would do business with them anytime.

 

Rockin S has some good reps - but can be a bit pricey. No experience, just what I have been told a 2 people that have gone.
Elite, good as well - just a bit over west.
But if you can make up to Ft Lupton area, Different Strokes does some good work.
Owner and his wife both drive Ford Diesels.
If you can make it down here to Littleton, by me - Ken Caryl-470, Excel Diesel and SUV.
I use them when I can't do the work (or it's to eff'n cold to do work outside.)
