My Leveling Kit & Tires

My Leveling Kit & Tires
I spent a lot of time on this forum and others trying to get the look I wanted for my 2010 Lariat SuperCrew before I added my new tires and a leveling kit. Everybody has an opinion and many of yours with pictures really helped guide me to the right decision. I just wanted to post pics and specs now that mine is done in case there are others out there trying to do what I did to my truck.
I upgraded my tires from the stock 275/65r18 to Goodyear Duratrac 275/70r18. This gave me about 1" more tire. I kept the stock wheels. I then installed an Autospring 1.5" Leveling Kit I picked up directly from Autospring for cheap. It was easy to install. I am not a mechanic, but installation was very straightforward (just make sure you have the right tools).
After the tires were installed, but before the leveling kit, my rear fender was 40 3/8" from the ground and the front fender was 37 3/4" (about 2 5/8" rake). After the leveling kit was installed, the rear fender was 40 1/8" and the front fender was 39 3/4" (about 3/8" rake). I then had it aligned (which is required if you want to keep your tires) and the rear stayed at 40 1/8", but the front dropped to 39 1/2" after the toe was straightened out.
This setup left just over 1/2" of rake in my truck to offset my trailer weight. I know some people like a truck perfectly level, but this is exactly they way I wanted it to end up. I couldn't be happier.
Thanks to everybody that had previously posted their pictures so I could learn from you guys. Hopefully this helps somebody else out in the future.
