Hi, welcome to FTE!

When the hazards are on, did you check all 4 outside lights and make sure they are flashing?

When you say you replaced the blinker switch, are you referring to the flasher box under the dash, or the switch in the column?

Also, when you hit the turn signal lever, does the green light in the dash come on and stay on?

The lever/switch on the column - ran outside to check nothing appears on the dash and no noise when I hit blinkers - guess I need to pull panel off and find another switch under the column?

Not just yet. I don't know if the fuse for the hazards is different than the turn signal. Let me check on my truck. I assume you had the ignition key turned on, right? Not to sound insulting, just checking. I make mistakes like that myself.

According to my owners manual, and it's for an 02, the turn signal and brake lights use the same fuse.

Umm, regarding replacing the flasher unit! It's under the dash to the right of the steering column. The flasher unit and the blower relay are in the same block/holder. Did you perhaps replace the blower relay instead of the flasher unit?
