Rummaging through my box of stuff and trying to decide where these go?

 

Do you have any idea what year it's from?

 

57 or newer bed i think... bed

 

It looks like it might have been painted at one time. Was the truck a step side or wide bed?
Could it be a bracket to hold the step in front of the fender?

I'm not as familiar with those new fangled trucks.....lol

The bed is from a 57, but the truck is a 55. I think they are the support brackets for the stepside steps. 57's didn't have running boards, just the little steps. Thanks for your help Bob!!

Spare parts, won't need them on your 55
