Shifter jams up
Drove the 150 to work yesterday, thought it would be nice to have 4X4 with the winter storm here. Ran great to and fro, until got home. Pulled in my drive, and backed out to get my mail. When I went to shift into D, the shift lever wouldn't move. After trying a number of times, it finally moved, very stiffly.Went for P at the barn, and the thing didn't want to go beyond reverse. Finally, it broke loose. Yes, I had the brake pedal depressed, tried when in and out of 4X4, with that stupid ATC on and off. Nothing made any difference. Is there a possibility of snow/slush getting on the linkage and freezing the thing up, or something else? Seems I've experienced a lot of new things to me with this truck. I'm really beginning to regret selling the SD, except for the cost of fuel, and better mileage.
