I have a 2000 F150 with a 5.4L non supercharger motor. I would like to convert it to a supercharger motor. Can anyone tell me the list of things I need to do a complete transfer? I can get the blower/intercooler for $500.00 bucks. What about what's needed for the computer, wiring harness, piping, sensors pullys???
Are you using the Lightning setup? If so, you need the Lightning pistons (shortblock is better) for the lower CR. What year supercharger is this unit? pre-02 stuff can use the older style heads, the newer units require the Power Improved heads. You need the processor from a Lightning (to accomodate the different functions), a Lighnitning FEAD setup for the belts, and the modified torque converter. A modified trans would help for all the extra power.
If you don't go with the Lightning shrtblock, you'll need a different water pump, and crank pulley.
For the intercooler, you'll need a separate radiator, hoses, electric water pump, and degas bottle.
I've been putting together my parts list for about a year now for my F-250
