There was an 1100 on the truck when i bought it. The power valve was frozen solid, and i couldn't un-stick it. I had the 2100 sitting on a shelf from a former project. I've always liked it- it used to get 16mpg highway on a 360 FE.
I have the truck at a point that i can drive it around the neighborhood- I will say...with the 2100 and the EFI manifolds, its got a little kick in its step.
But, the 1100 never ran right while I owned it, so i don't have anything to compare it to.

I called the local Ford store and the parts guy gave me a Motocraft # CM2270 for the fast idle cam link, but everything is long-ago discontinued.

I did a similar setup for the 1bbl carb on my 300. I used a throttle for a lawn mower. Im thinkin about switching to a 2bbl rochester carb. Would that be too much for a stock 300?
