Oil leaks & coolant leaks 08 f350 dually w/77k miles

08 f350 dually 6.4 diesel....leaks from front & rear engine seals....all around oil pan.....and i suspect a bed plate leak from upper and lower oil pans....and leaking coolant from cold water line that comes from front near top of engine.....question I ask of my fellow ford enthusiasts .....will my ford base care extended warranty cover all this or will the 5yr 100k warranty cover this.....f350 dually is a job 1....manufactured october 7th,,,,2007....I'm not a mechanic but I try to educate myself with knowledge about my super duty truck....so....let me know what You guys think....I may be wrong in my diagnosis....but the truck is leaking oil in multiple places and leaking coolant...can smell coolant from engine compartment.....crawled under with a flash light and coolant leaks from a 2 inch line from front engine then goes up....let me know your opinions....many thanks....and happy new year.....

Hi Native Images,

You are in luck, oil leaks like this are covered under your 100,000 mile Powerstroke engine warranty. Take it to your dealer and they should take care of it at no charge to you as long as nothing else that isn't covered under warranty is wrong.

I'd take it in right away as well. Tom is right.

As far as the coolant issue they should pressure test it to find the problem area. Be sure to not let the degas bottle get low. Air in the system is not good.

Coolant leak sounds like lower radiator hose if I'm understanding your explanation correctly. Early 6.4's had a single o-ring hose and have since upgraded to a dual o-ring on both upper and lower rad hoses. I had one and my ESP Maintenance plan covered it.

I concur, these cooling systems are really tough to deal with once multiple issues are happening, get it in and solved before you end up in a heap of trouble.

Truck is at dealership..... 5yr warranty expired....hopefully extended base care warranty covers cost of repairs...driving rental till truck is fixed....will know more after mechanic diagnosis where the leaks are originating from....and provide a estimate of repairs.... I wonder if ford service departments are open on new years day.....in any case.... I'm patiently waiting for estimate of repairs....

patience...while waiting, review your warranty coverage so you know what is covered when they start talking what is wrong.
