got a few choices,
spend $100 for a replacement junkyard piece
spend $100 on a brand new one from lmc(gotta cut out the factory vents)
hope to find one on a local forum for cheap
or deal with patching up this one

When I trade or buy anythinf I plan on a couple thousand to get it road worthy. Bought a 1999 f350 went way over budget on it repair somthing and breakes before I get it out the door. But the upside when I am done I will have a $100,000.00 truck that is woth $6000.00. But I can drive it till it dies or I do.

took care of some rot in the frt bumper, made some patches out of some thick sheetmetal, 14ga iirc

not perfect but better then having rot holes, and was used with leftover materials from other projects

That's the Powerstroke Diesel style bumper....Better cooling, etc...Because more airflow can get in the radiator area, etc..

Well whatever anyone says the 92 plus diesels in my neck of the woods start at 2000 to 2500 so if your happy that isn't a bad price. I've seen em close to 5000 in excellent condition and well maintained. Of course here in the South they rarely have any more than surface rust so all of them are solid structure wise.

That plasti-dip looks good, did it come out smooth to the touch? Easy to clean?
