It took 7 1/2 years, but I finally made 2000 posts!
This is my 2001st post.
Who woulda thunk it?
Now, I know many of you folks have tens of thousands, but I never thought that I would even talk enough to make a thousand, let alone 2 thousand.
Ahh, the sands of time, how they flow.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I said to myself, "self, do you wonder when houserat will make 2,000 posts?" Then I answered myself too, "self, his name is housedad, not houserat!" The really scary part wasn't wondering if or when houserat would surpass 2,000 posts, the scary part was I was talking to myself!

But those 2000+ posts have been very beneficial to the community! Look at your rep! Glad you've stuck around for so long.

LOL.
Thanks folks. I got a kick outta all that!
I said I'd keep this truck for at least 20 years, so only 12 1/2 more to go. By then we'll all be still here talking about all the ones that are just starting to sport classic plates. It will sure be interesting.
I might even make 3000 by then. Who knows?
