I hear through the facebook grapevine that Steve (gator) & his wife took damage to their home yesterday. Best wishes & prayers for them. Hope he'll check in with us & fill us in.

 

Thanks David for the prayers. We lost the roof over the master bedroom and alot of water damage. We spent the day repairing and drying everything out. We should finish the repair tomorrow. While on top of the house installing a tarp, the tornado horn went off again. It flipped the top of my scout and other minor damage. The worst thing so far is the cable is out and I have nothing to drown Normas mouth out. LOL. I think maybe God is mad at me. He was talking to some more folks and when I seen the tornado, I butted in on his conversation. I was in a hurry.

 

It is good to hear that you and the family are OK. That storm was a really bad actor.

Any you guys down south get any of the white stuff. My yard is white. The streets stayed clear.

 

No snow yet.

 

Only sleet at the farm (Jefferson Co.), but nothing here. Also, no damage close to me.

I sawed yesterday and it was brutal with that North wind and swirling sawdust. Maybe today will be better.

 

Hope you get that cable fixed Steve, gotta' know where priorities lie.

 

Pulled down today what little Crima decorations that were put up this year. Its supposedly bad luck to leave em' up past New Years & I fer damn sure don't need any more that I'm due in the first place. Lots of pretty sun today, but its a might on the nippy side out there.

May all who pass enjoy the last weekend of 2012.

Oh & I hope Steve has got his roof fixed.

 

No worry about that particular bad luck trigger at my place.
We didn't put up a thing.
In fact the only presents that were given were checks to the accounts we owe money.
In this economy that was our priority.
