ok back home from the hunting trip - 6 days out and one 100 lb button buck was the result - although considering that it was my first deer hunting trips i'm content lol learned how to dress them out and that the surplus light ball does a hell of a number on them - blew his lung out his other side...

well tried to change the fuel filters... i have big enough tools for the "small" filter... but the bigger filter i cant get access too cuz the cap requires bigger tools than i have.... mine go up to 32mm and 1 5/16 and still wasnt big enough...

Kicked off mine and Bruce's winter project. Mid-60's Evinrude 4-cylinder outboard. Pulled the starter apart and cleaned it all up. Wiring harness is toast; going to pull it apart and run all new wires. After the wiring is fixed, I'll rebuild the carb and clean the points to see if we can get this thing to fire up.

Just floated then. Faster and easier than nailing.

Ugh, the voltage regulator for that boat motor is $200+.
