1993 F-150 351W Problem

So I have a weird problem that I cannot figure out and in hopes of saving a trip to the dealer I was hoping to throw it out for everyone here. I purchased this truck for my daughter in law and when I bought it all was great. Shortly after she started driving it it started having problems with idling and starting after it dies or even at all sometimes. I checked the fuel pressure and to me it seemed low (now I'm not sure if there was not a problem with fuel getting to my pressure guage) when you first turn the key on it would come up to maybe 5-10 if you cycle it it would build up to 35 or so, running its about 25 or so, She has since replaced all 8 injectors, both fuel pumps, fuel pressure regulator, we tried switch MAP Sensors, and the fuel filter has been changed twice (both times we had hell with those little ******* metal retaining clips). Still to no real avail. Help

Spray starting fluid in the throttle body or put some gas on a rag and hold it up to the throttle body...Try starting it.....Let us know what happens

Idle should be about 32-34psi. It should not even run or start at 25psi. So if it starts at 25psi you have a bad gauge.

You can try shorting pin #2 to pin#6 of the self test plug and when you turn on the key the selected pump should run continuously and read 45psi with the engine not running.

Work Done

So I went 200 miles this weekend to work on this truck, I had planned on replacing the PIP (Ignition Pickup) but when I attempted this the distributor came apart, I was thinking that maybe this is my problem!!! Then when I started it (Amazingly it started the first time on the first stab of the distributor since it broke and I had no way of checking where it was when it came out) anyway it still had the stumble when I push the gas just off idle, I got to thinking about it and when the throttle position sensor was changed maybe it didnt get adjusted right, so I adjusted the throttle stop to just past where the hesitation was occuring and it seems to have eliminated that problem. I left Stephenville thinking all the problems but she called me yesterday and told me it still has difficulty starting after running it, even though they're new maybe the Injectors are leaking???? I don't know!!!

That stop screw is to keep the throttle plates from sticking and not to adjust the TP voltage of the throttle position sensor.
Adjusting the screw to up the idle will not solve any problems.
The computer takes the Closed Throttle voltage when you start the engine and does math with it to come up with the voltages for Part Throttle and Full Throttle.
For more information on the TPS go here:
Fuel Injection Technical Library » Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

Did you just the timing with a timing light to 10 degrees BTDC with the SPOUT out?

You need to run the ECC self-test before spending a lot of money on the truck. You can post the codes back here and we will help you to get it running right.
If you do not know how to run the EEC self-test go here:
Fuel Injection Technical Library » How To Run a Self-Test
