well, so this is what 6:30am looks like on a Saturday morning. I'm not impressed.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend once they get up at a respectable time.

Wish I could. We are watching our friends daughter and I have to be up to cook breakfast.
Our friends appendix burst and had to rush to the hospital to have it removed last night.
No sleep for me.

Happy Saturday truckers!
Cold and snowy here. Not too deep but I bet the ski areas got a nice new layer.
One of my part time neighbors is discovering the joys of icy driving. The just bought their house here this past summer. He has a newer Dodge ram pickup with wide tires. Two wheel drive of course. He's out there putting cable type chains on his truck. I couldn't pass on telling him that this larger worry is stopping distance. And how those wide tires will get him up on top of the snow and ice.

Situation update about my friend: Turns out once they did the scans/tests it was not her appendix but a tumor on an ovary had burst. They removed the tumor last night but still has to have the ovary removed.
Thanks for all the well wishes for her, I have passed them on.

Howdy all! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Bruce - Yup, I'm going to be going to work and school at the same time. Yes, it's going to be nuts, but it's about time I get my degree and get my ****** together. LOL I'm still waiting to hear from UNLV on whether or not I'm accepted. They said I should hear in about 2 weeks or so and it's been one week down so far, so hopefully I should hear by next Friday or so.
Donna - I will take you for a ride anytime you like. Just make sure you have your helmet with you. I'm glad you're feeling better.
Jim - I have my fingers crossed and hoping for the best for you brother! Things will work out. Just keeping thinking positive and keep a positive mental attitude, even if you don't want to. Somehow that ends up putting out positive vibes that come back around to you.
I get to head out to Phoenix next week for a couple of days to help out my counterpart down there since he will be out of the office. It will be fun since I've never really been to Phoenix before. Only drove through one time and sat in rush hour traffic. LOL
Also, I wanted to say one other thing. The Shark is the baddest vacuum on the planet! OMG that thing is soooo awesome! We just got one and it is worth every penny, dime, nickle, whatever! It truly is top notch! Even comes with a 5 year warranty. Pretty cool. I'm truly impressed. Hell, I even wanted to go knock on the neighbor's door and ask them if I could vacuum their house too!

Good morning everyone. Greg, I hope your friend has a speedy recovery.
I am soooo ready for winter to be over with. Although I am glad the cold took its time getting here.
