Well...as soon as the sun comes up I'm going to go pull my intake manifold and yank the passenger side head. Blew a head gasket so bad that water was coming out of the exh pipe.
Egad that Fuel Injection contraption on the top the intake manifold has a lot of hoses and wires. Good thing I took the time to label stuff.
Couple of questions since I haven't played with an FI vehicle where the intake system goes over the valve cover.
1. Any special pointers anybody care to share before I go yank the head?
2. I gather that the valves have to be perfectly set before putting that FI intake back on since it looks impossible to get back in there after it's put together. Am I right?
I mostly play with my SBC so I thought I'd ask before I go off and start yanking the rest of it.
